Junior Players Welcomed & Encouraged

Kaiapoi Golf Club are enthusiastic supporters of junior golf and provide coaching and playing opportunities for young players at minimal cost. The club has clubs and trundlers juniors can borrow and also provides a shorter purple course for those who are just starting to learn to play the game.

Kaiapoi Golf Club Junior Coaching Programme

Professional coach Jason Tilley runs coaching sessions on Monday afternoons for both beginners and more experienced golfers during school terms 1 & 4, and also a holiday programme in January. While club member Peter McAllister runs sessions on a Wednesday afternoon during school term 3. Kaiapoi junior members can access these programmes free of charge.
