Golf Coaching at Kaiapoi Golf Club
Professional coach Jason Tilley has been involved at the Kaiapoi Golf Club since 2008 and the clubs Junior Coaching Programme has been one of the strongest in Canterbury.
Many of our players have gone on to represent the province and in Amelia Garvey’s case NZ. We love to see our players have fun together and not only improve as golfers but as people. Golf can test one’s patience, perseverance, honesty and sportsmanship.
Jason enjoys teaching players of all abilities and helping them attain their personal best. All the equipment to get started is supplied. The Kaiapoi Golf Club are wonderful supporters of junior golf through volunteers and providing access to the golf course.
We have junior programmes starting in October (Term 4) for both beginners and more experienced juniors. Junior Beginners are usually players from 5-12 yrs old, who generally haven’t played before and want to explore golf as a sport. For those players who have had golf course experience, usually 9-17 years old, and want to improve their handicaps, we also have a Development Programme.

30 minute session – $65.00
5 x 30 minute sessions – $300.00
1 x 1 hour playing session – $130.00
Sessions available on course or at a driving range.
All equipment provided if required.
