Kaiapoi Golf Club welcomes new members and offers a wide range of membership options, so there is sure to be an option that suits your particular situation. Our membership fees are very competitive and we offer flexible payment options.

We are a very friendly and sociable club, and encourage our new members to participate in all club activities both on and off the course. Whether you are an accomplished player or just starting out, we would be very happy to help you develop your golf aspirations. Members get an official NZ golf handicap and most memberships that are more than 3 months in length also include some free rounds at sister clubs.

Our course and clubhouse facilities provide for a great golfing experience. Our 18-hole golf course offers a fair challenge to golfers of all abilities with undulating fairways and smooth rolling greens. It also has a practice fairway, practice chipping area (which includes a bunker) as well as putting and chipping practice greens.

Members have access to Mid-week and Saturday competitions and can also enter inter-club competitions if they choose. Members and visitors are always welcome to relax at any time in our café/restaurant/bar, which is open at least 6 days a week.

Short on time? How about a 9 Hole Membership?

  • Play 9 holes at any time on a weekday or Sunday.
  • Play 9 holes on a Saturday afternoon once the 18 hole competition is finished.
  • Get an official handicap.
  • Get some FREE 9 hole rounds Waimari Beach, Bottle Lake and McLeans Island golf courses (only applies to memberships of more than 4 months in length).
  • Want to play 18 holes some days? Then just pay a $10 green fee for the extra 9 holes.

Already a member of a golf club?
How about a Secondary Membership

  • Get full playing rights, and it’s cheaper than you might think!
  • Paid a sub of at least $600 at your primary club? Then the secondary fee is only $370.
  • Paid a sub that was less than $600 at your primary club? Then the fee is $370 plus the difference between $600 and the fee you paid.
  • Get one FREE round also at Waimari Beach, Bottle Lake and McLeans Island golf courses (only applies to memberships of more than 4 months in length).
  • Only restrictions are you are ineligible to enter the Kaiapoi Club Championships (there is an option to pay $770 instead of $370 which would allow you to play) and you can only play Interclub for Kaiapoi if a team can’t be filled from the primary membership.
  • Membership year runs 1 March to 28 February.
