Membership Categories & Subscription Fees
Kaiapoi Golf Club’s 2024/25 playing season ends soon on 28 February 2025. Therefore, we are now offering memberships for the new 2025/26 season, that runs from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026. If you join now for the new season you can start playing immediately, ie you effectively get a 14 month membership, but the 14 month fee gives you ONE MONTH FREE! Most of our memberships also include 8 free rounds at other golf clubs too.

Flexible payment options are also available ($25 admin fee applies) – pay a 20% deposit then pay the balance by regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly automatic payments to suit your circumstances.
Note: If you have been a member of the Kaiapoi Golf Club for 20 or more years you are eligible for a 10% discount off your membership fee.

Full 9 hole playing rights until 28 February 2026 on any day, except on Saturdays only after the regular 18 hole competition is finished – includes Golf NZ Handicap plus card allowing 3 FREE 9 hole rounds of golf at Waimairi Beach and Bottle Lake courses and 2 FREE 9 hole rounds of golf at McLeans Island course. If you want to play 18 holes some days, just pay a $10 green fee for the extra 9 holes.
8 month fee $480 incl GST
Usual 6 month fee $410
Full playing rights until 31 August 2025 – includes Golf NZ handicap plus card allowing 2 FREE rounds of golf at Waimairi Beach, 1 FREE round at Bottle Lake and 1 FREE round at McLeans Island.
Convert to a Full Active Member at the end of your Membership for an additional $410 incl GST and get another card allowing a total of another 4 FREE rounds at the above clubs.
Better to have Winter membership at this stage, far better value

Must be a fully paid member of another NZ golf club for which you paid a fee of at least $500. If you paid less than $500 then the difference between $500 and what you did pay is added to the Kaiapoi fee. Full playing rights, until 28 February 2026 – includes card allowing 3 FREE rounds of golf at Waimairi Beach and Bottle Lake courses and 2 FREE rounds of golf at McLeans Island course.
Note: To play in Kaiapoi’s Club Championships, Secondary members must play in at least six Saturday competition events prior to the Club Championships starting.

Must be under 18 on 1 March 2025. Play once handicap has been achieved, full playing rights until 28 February 2026 – includes Golf NZ Handicap plus card allowing 3 FREE rounds of golf at Waimairi Beach and Bottle Lake courses and 2 FREE rounds of golf at McLeans Island course. Includes free access to the club’s junior coaching programme.

Must be a full-time tertiary student on the date of joining for the season. Full playing rights until 28 February 2026 – includes Golf NZ Handicap plus card allowing 3 FREE rounds of golf at Waimairi Beach and Bottle Lake courses and 2 FREE rounds of golf at McLeans Island course.
14 month fee $335 incl GST
Usual 12 month fee $310
For beginner women golfers as they learn to play rounds on the course. Membership runs until 28 February 2026. This category does not include any competition rights and does not provide a Golf NZ handicap. If you transfer to one of the club’s other memberships before 28 February 2026 a pro rata credit towards that membership fee will be given based on the length of the She Loves Golf membership that has been used.

Juniors learning to play, eligible for club’s junior coaching programme for free, restricted playing rights. Membership runs until 28 February 2026. Once playing full rounds of golf and ready to submit cards for a Golf NZ handicap, should transfer to Junior U18 category. Pro rata credit for unused months of membership will be given towards Junior U18 membership.
$40 incl GST
No playing rights, but all club privileges.
Voting Rights
Life Members and all Playing Members except Juniors have the right to vote at any Annual or Special General Meeting, subject to the provisions of Rule 46 (Pecuniary Interest).
